Helping with Fundraisers 2003 - 2004
The Kolbe's Korner Parent Board would like to thank everyone in advance for helping to contribute to our fundraising efforts. This year we are looking for volunteers for:
QSP Wrapping Paper & Gifts
The best way to support this fundraiser is by encouraging family and friends to purchase items from the sales catalogs. If you need extra catalogs contact the Fundraising Chair and catalogs can be brought to your child's classroom.
Donation Items for the Mardi Gras Madness Silent Auction
We are looking to our Kolbe's Korner families to help donate items for the silent auction. Need some ideas?
· Do you own tickets to a sporting event, concert hall or theater? These items are very popular.
· Do you own a cabin or a vacation house? These items are always the biggest fundraisers.
· Are you a member of a private club? People always enjoy rounds of golf, a lesson from a tennis pro or a private fitness training session.
· Do you frequent a local business? Local businesses such as restaurants, dance studios or nail salons are happy to donate items to loyal customers. Ask them while you are there can you donate something to our school's Silent Auction?
· Do you have a personal talent to contribute? Cooking lessons, computer lessons or tutoring of any kind make great auction items.
· Do you work for a business that could provide merchandise or services? Printing, eye exams, dental visits, vet visits are examples of wonderful items. · Can you think of any unique items? Past years we've had donated exclusive items such as a flight in a fighter jet, a slab of granite, a leather reclining chair, unlimited domestic long-distance for one-year, cruise on Westlake, lunch at the fire station, a case of vintage cabernet sauvignon wines and more!
NO ITEM IS TOO SMALL. To donate items for the Silent Auction please send an e-mail to the Fundraising Chair and she/he will be happy to make arrangements to collect the item. You may also download the following forms in PD. format:
