Mission Statement

· To live, defend and spread God's teaching about creation and the sacredness of life
· To promote pro life changes in our society and laws
· To give a voice to the unborn
· To communicate God's compassion and forgiveness to post-abortion women
· To give dignity and regard to the life of the elderly and sick
· To give forgiveness and hope to those facing the death penalty

Description of Activities

Meet as a faith based group to promote change in our society and laws regarding such issues as abortion, euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research, the death penalty and all areas where human life is being threatened by society. Provide speakers to address the pro life message to our youth groups, our parish and other congregations; support local and national pro life organizations with goods, services and financial assistance; participate in pro life walks; encourage communication of the pro life message to political and community leaders; outreach to post-abortion women.

Description of Ministry

Participated in arranging speakers to address such issues as, abortion, embryonic stem cell research, abstinence, and the church's moral teachings. Provided speakers to other congregations to promote the pro life message. Provide regular assistance to St. Anne's Outreach, Sarah's House, Angel's Way, Life Centers of Ventura County, Conejo Valley Women's Resource Center and others. Attended the Annual Respect Life Banquet at the Westlake Hyatt and other pro life seminars.
