June 8 2008 - All Ministries Faire

Now is the time: If you are being called to help out in a particular ministry, call the chair person of that ministry and get the details. OR complete the volunteer form and express your interest by email. OR show up after Mass on Sunday June 8 and see what St.Max volunteers are doing and how you could help. One way or another get involved - help us help others.

Nov 11 - Parish Plan Meeting

Fr. O’Dwyer invited all Ministry leaders of St.Max to a Parish Plan Meeting in O’Reilly Hall. A spread of delicious sandwiches, salads, fruit and cheese platters and soft drinks were enjoyed by all.

PAC council members facilitated the meeting which provided an opportunity for all to share there thoughts, ideas and views about various subjects.

The information gathered is being collated for review. It will become the initial input for the 5 year Parish Plan being developed under the leadership of PAC in conjunction with all ministries and the Parish community. For more information please read the Parish Bulletin of Nov. 17, 2007
 

Oct 21 - Fr. Patrick O’Dwyer’s Birthday

The Pastoral Advisory Council celebrated Fr.O’Dwyer’s birthday by inviting the Parishioners to O’Reilly Hall after Mass last Sunday. Diane Eaton and the PAC team cooperated to setup the decorations, balloons, cakes, and beverages. A big thank you goes out to Diane and  PAC mates for your effort. We are proud of you.

Oct 20 - St.Max Volunteer Recognition

Fr.O’Dwyer, Pastor of St.Maximilian Kolbe recognized Mr.& Mrs. Eugene Johnson and Ms. Diane Eaton for their tireless voluntary service and dedication to the Parish in the O’Reilly Hall today. Decorations, Music, Food & Drinks created a congenial atmosphere enjoyed by all. Click here to see more

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist

Fr.Jim Maher led a class today on the Eucharistic Ministries and informed new and old ministers about the changes, their reasons, and invited all ministers to spend some time before the Lord in Adoration and Prayer. Ray & Stephanie Donckels, who Chair this ministry discussed some procedures and invited the new ministers to a practice run in the sacristy.
